Gwinnett Buick GMC Dealership To Present Drive 2 Survive GMC Terrain To Winning Raffle Ticket Holder That Supported Georgia Breast Cancer Research Via It’s The Journey

Drive 2 Survive GMC Terrain

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January 26, 2012

Jim Ellis Buick GMC Mall of Georgia store will officially raffle off the “Drive 2 Survive” GMC Terrain benefiting It’s The Journey, Inc, a charitable organization serving Georgia’s breast cancer community, by raising money and awareness for education, early detection and support services. The running promotion will culminate in the final presentation of the “PINK” 2011 GMC Terrain to the winning raffle ticket holder this Saturday, January 28, 2012. At that time, there will also be a presentation of funds raised for It’s The Journey. Over the past few months, Jim Ellis Buick GMC Atlanta and Jim Ellis Buick GMC Mall of Georgia along with Jason Pullman of 94-9 The Bull have teamed together to support It’s The Journey, Inc. via this raffle.

Raffle ticket holders received a special invitation to the event this weekend where the winning ticket will be announced. There will also be a chance to win other prizes throughout the day. Mark Frost, Jim Ellis V.P of Operations and Caffeinated Radio’s Jason Pullman ( 94-9 The Bull’s Jim Ellis Buick GMC spokesperson.) will be on-hand to MC the promotion.

The pink 2011 GMC Terrain was on hand at numerous concerts with 94-9 The Bull, Jim Ellis Buick GMC promotions, training events for It’s The Journey, Inc., and the 2011 Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer on September 24 and 25, 2011 in Atlanta.

“It’s The Journey is so grateful for this exciting opportunity to promote awareness and raise funds for Georgia’s breast cancer community,” said Kimberly Goff, Executive Director of It’s The Journey, Inc., producers of the Atlanta 2-Day Walk. “The Drive 2 Survive promotion allowed us to reach tens of thousands of Georgians, raise funds for critical breast cancer programs and sign up new walkers for The Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer.”

“Jim Ellis Buick GMC Atlanta supports 94-9 The Bull and the Atlanta 2-Day Walk because this worthy cause is something near and dear to our customers and the Jim Ellis Family,” said Mark Frost, General Manager of Jim Ellis Buick GMC Atlanta. “The Drive 2 Survive 2011 GMC Terrain Giveaway is a great platform to raise money for Breast Cancer awareness and support.”

A pledge, my young friend, is another word for promise. i.e. you promise to give so much and stick to it.

Answer by amy_imagin
I could definitely help you with that. I own a vacation biz that has a fundraising dept. You can raffle or auction off vacations to raise the money. Online or offline. Which ever you prefer. Or both. You don’t pay til the raffle is over. It’s a great program.
I can give you more info if you want. I will even give you my number so we can talk.

Market America & SHOP.COM Raise $5,000 in Fight Against Breast Cancer

Market America & SHOP.COM Raise $ 5,000 in Fight Against Breast Cancer

Greensboro, NC (PRWEB) December 07, 2011

Earlier.org (http://www.Earlier.org) announced today that Market America (http://www.marketamerica.com) and SHOP.COM (http://www.shop.com) have made a five thousand dollar ($ 5,000.00) donation towards the fight against breast cancer. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Market America & SHOP.COM allocated a portion of each sale of Motives® by Loren Ridinger’s Collagen Core Lipstick in Inspired, Motives Mineral Lipstick in Brilliant and Isotonix® OPC-3 Beauty Blend to Earlier.org to help in the fight against breast cancer. Both organizations remain committed to raising funds to combat this deadly disease, which affect millions of women a year—all throughout the world.

“We want to thank Market America and each person who participated in this promotion. It was a wonderful surprise to our organization. The funds that were generated will be carefully directed to promising research to find a biological test to detect breast cancer earlier than is possible right now, said Martha Kaley, Founder, Earlier.org. “Scientists are working diligently to identify a better method for detection. Thank you to Market America for their generous contribution, and thank you to everyone who made the decision to support this project through their purchase,” said Kaley.

Since its founding in 1995, Earlier.org has focused solely on funding research seeking to identify an earlier detection TEST for breast cancer. Earlier detection may prevent invasive surgery, minimize treatment and dramatically increase survival chances. The organization’s single mission is to direct as many funds as possible, as quickly as possible, to research; in hopes to establish an innovative biological test to detect breast cancer earlier. Earlier.org believes identifying breast cancer at its earliest stages is the best way to allow women who’ve been diagnosed with this disease to not just live – but to live longer, healthier, more fulfilling lives.

“It was a pleasure working with Earlier.org and we look forward to a continued partnership in 2012,” said Brandi Quinn, Vice President of Operations, Market America. “Earlier.org is an amazing organization and we love what they are doing. You know their money is going where it needs to go to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer,” said Quinn.

ABOUT EARLIER.ORG

The single mission at Earlier.org, also known as Friends for An Earlier Breast Cancer Test, is the discovery of an innovative biological test to detect breast cancer earlier. Most breast cancer is in the body five to eight years before it can be detected through current methods. Earlier detection may prevent invasive surgery, minimize treatment and dramatically increase survival chances.
